Align with The Kingdom not the World

The Kingdom of God is a divine realm unlike any system of this world. Romans 14:17 reminds us that the Kingdom is “not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Luke 17:21 declares, “The Kingdom of God is within you.” It is a spiritual reality, not bound by physical borders, as Jesus stated in John 18:36: “My Kingdom is not of this world.”

When we are born again, we are delivered from the dominion of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of God’s beloved Son (Colossians 1:13). This Kingdom is not just external; it is planted within us by the Holy Spirit. Everything that the Kingdom embodies—righteousness, peace, and joy—belongs to us because His Spirit dwells in us.

The Kingdom of God also brings with it a culture—a way of living, thinking, and speaking. Culture shapes identity, and as citizens of this Kingdom, we carry its values: joy, faith, love, peace, and victory. Galatians 5:22-23 describes this culture as the fruit of the Spirit: “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” This is the lifestyle of those who live in Christ.

In contrast, the world’s system operates on a culture of fear, worry, and failure. It’s a language of defeat and a lifestyle designed to collapse under its own weight. Romans 12:2 calls us to reject the pattern of this world and be transformed by the renewing of our minds. We cannot live Kingdom lives while adopting the ways of the world.

1 John 2:15 warns us: “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.” To thrive in the Kingdom of God, we must break away from the world’s systems and embrace the life, joy, and power of God’s Kingdom.

Choose today to live in alignment with the Kingdom culture—its righteousness, peace, and joy are yours. Let the Spirit of God transform your heart, your mind, and your actions to reflect His divine nature in every area of your life.
